Bellatrix fingering is a deluxe, 2-ply, high-twist 80/20 superwash merino/nylon blend that is so so soft due to the 19.2 micron merino. It has terrific stitch definition, and a smooth lustre. Perfect for socks or garments, and so soft against skin, yet durable.
85% Superwash Extrafine Merino (19.5 micron) 15% Nylon Yarn (2/7.2Nm)
Two plies are twisted tightly together to produce a very soft and springy yarn. The 2 plies make the yarn slightly bumpy which helps the strands of yarn hold together against each other making it great for colourwork and lace work. The thicker strands also help speckles pop even more.
