Village Laine Thrummed Mittens Class Saturday October 24 2020

Availability: In stock (4)

This class with Christa Wales of Lake Knits Yarns will teach you how to craft a pair of thrummed mittens. Thrumming is a type of knitting where pieces of wool roving are knit into garments resulting in the inside being super fleecy and soft.

This class is Saturday, October 24th, 2020 from 10:15am to 12:15pm. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early.

There will be a small homework project to be completed prior to class. Participants in the class will need to cast on and knit the ribbing in the round prior to class.  Once registered, students will be emailed a pre-class handout with the instructions.

You will need 4mm knitting needles (either circular or dpns) and both worsted weight yarn and roving (not included in the price of the class).  Kits are available from the store or you can bring your own.

Registrations are non-refundable. With 48 hours notice or more you may defer to another class within one year. Less than 48 hours notice will be considered a no-show and the class fee is forfeit. We will only cancel classes in unavoidable circumstances such as extreme weather.
